Our Apiary
Our apiary is a true teaching apiary, now boasting about 12 hives. We've various types of hive, including National and Langstroth. We also have about multiple Poly Nucs. We have a lovely, large club-house, which is great for storing all our bits and pieces, extracting honey, and having a chat without too many bees flying in your cup of tea!
Throughout the active beekeeping season (usually late March to September (ish!)), the bees are inspected every week - any and all of our members are welcome, and indeed encouraged to attend - no matter their skill level.
